Cultural Studies and Literary Scholar, First-Year Composition Instructor, Copyeditor, and Creative Practitioner
Glenn S. Ritchey III is a scholar and multidisciplinary artist pursuing an M.A. in Literary, Cultural, and Textual Studies at the University of Central Florida, where he also teaches First-Year Composition. His research interests include adaptation studies, cinema studies, critical making, digital humanities, and Old Irish literature, with a focus on decolonial and postcolonial theory. Glenn’s creative practice spans experimental publishing, video art, and performance-based community projects, exploring themes of memory, spatiality, and cultural critique. He most recently edited and designed Oil Spill, a short story collection published by Sifting Press, and has self-published two experimental pamphlets (Lebor I and Lebor II). His short film Marie, Mon Amour screened at Cinematique Theater as a conceptual installation. Additionally, his graphic design work for independent bands and record labels has been featured in multiple media outlets.
